Here we are in 2009 and I am still not very good at keeping up with the whole blog. Since the last post, there has been a lot going on.

Jan. 2009= Rex left on cruise for a scheduled 6 months. (notice I say scheduled. It can change at any time before they make it home)
Mar. 2009= I started school. It seems a little overwhelming every now and then, but I have managed so far. My English 101 class is the worst.
May 2009= My little drummer boy will be in his very first parade. I will be taking pictures and will do my best to get them on here.

We are all hoping that these last few months of deployment go by very fast.

I will update again soon!!

I told you that I wasn't very good at this. Ever since I hurt my ankle, I have become even worse about getting on and doing the stuff that I need to do. I don't even talk to my wonderful sister as much as I should.

I am going to start out slowly and get the writing down and when I get a little better at that I will put some pictures up. I know that many of you have not seen the kids since they were very little and while that is still the case with Taylor, it is not with Justin. I may even have some pics on my computer some where from when Shauncey came to stay with us for the summer. We are still trying to work things out so that we can get Jordan here.

Well, I am not really good at the whole blogging thing, but I thought it might be worth trying since we have so many people in many places that would like to know what is going on with everyone here.

For any of you that don't know, we have been in Washington state for just over a year now and it is really pretty. Not quite as depressing as everyone had told us before we left San Diego. It is a little bit of a culture shock compared to Cali, but it really doesn't rain all the time like everyone says. I do have to admit that I love the snow and as far as I know the kids and Rex do as well.
